Drawing for [link] contest.
The couple I've chosen to participate was Link and Zelda
I selected the Spirit Tracks version because I was recently playing this game, and I liked how they interact in this game.
I wanted to do this couple because I always liked the pure relationship between them. It's rare to see such a cute relationship nowadays, and I tried to preserve it in the drawing.
The contest asks about how they meet each other. I would consider the situation similar with the game. Link meets Zelda in a ceremony and then later joins in an adventure to rescue her body, so their friendship starts to get stronger during the hardships they face together.
In this scene, I imagine the world in peace, with Zelda not being a ghost, so they can finally not worry about anything and be happy.

Just kidding. But he is always trying to kiss her in the series and totally getting denied. 25 years with no success, might be time to pursue a new girl... just sayin'

*ahem* pervy comments aside, I absolutely hated this game (evil train god, what?) despite my love for the series... but my god Zelda is cute here. I absolutely love your artstyle for both full size and chibi draws!

There was a very old gossip that they could be brothers, and since that I think it's cute to view their relationship as a platonic one.

I think Link has the same troubles as the other Nintendo male characters that have a princess to help XD

Aaah, I have a serious case of love-hate with this game. I'm not sure if it's because the stylus..so annoying controling Link with that. I also can tell that playing with the train isn't nice too. I don't feel like doing the side quests because of that.

Yeah, after watching the Zelda animated series with Link being like "Heeeeeey Princess, it's smooching time!" every 5 minutes or so, and the totally flirty way Zelda talks to him all through Skyward Sword, it's totally not entirely platonic.
