Backstory: Celcia was the former love of Eivan (the necromancer of the main party), but died of an illness at an early age. She was always a sickly child and never amounted to much in the eyes of her family and peers, but did display a fair skill at tailoring and playing musical instruments. Eivan, being an apothecary, had been working on an elixir to cure her of her illness, but she died before it was complete, sending him into a fit of grief in which he underwent the forbidden study of necromancy in order to bring her back. Unsuccessful in fully resurrecting her, he only brought back her spirit, but soon after, fell in love with another woman who he shortly married. Celcia felt betrayed and abandoned and took her leave of him, but was never able to fully forget or forgive, for he had now denied her not only life with him, but death as well.

Years passed, and Celcia grew increasingly bitter as time wore on, her negative emotions eating away at what little of her sanity kept her together. Eventually, Eivan's wife passed away, but he was so mad with grief that he would not hear her pleas. Unwilling to repeat his past mistake with Celcia, he attempted to take his own life, but was stopped by her sudden reappearance. Unable to look at her due to his guilt and grief, he sent her away, denying her once more. Unable to cope with his continued rejection, Celcia swore vengeance upon him and has since been in a bitter (and sometimes amusing) love/hate relationship with him ever since.

In the present of the story, she has found herself joined to a cult under the teachings of a master mage named Sphyre who showed her how to manipulate her spiritual energy to call forth magic even from beyond the grave. Thankful for this talent, and for his acceptance despite her past rejections, she serves him as one of his strongest allies in his efforts to become a god and rule all of Asvoria.</sub>
